Henry Willard King was last seen on November 8, 1972, in the North Channel of Lake Huron. He was described as slender, five feet seven inches tall, with brown hair and blue eyes. At the time he was reportedly wearing a green rubber raincoat and matching rain pants and had a scar on his left thumb about one half to three quarters of an inch long.
His last known location is somewhere in the North Channel, a rugged Ontario waterway with many islands. Few details are available about why he was there or what he was doing that day. The East Algoma Ontario Provincial Police remain the point of contact for information; no public resolution has been announced.
Does anyone who spent time on the North Channel in November 1972 remember Henry King or have information about his activities that day?
