Hey everyone, I’ve been intrigued by the disappearance of Bertha Kolachynski from Niagara Falls in 1983 and noticed something curious about the community's response back then. It's like everyone just stopped talking after the initial buzz. I mean, in the beginning, it seemed like the whole neighborhood was involved, but as time passed, there was a noticeable drop in public engagement about her case. Does anyone know if there were any local events or efforts to keep her disappearance in the public eye over the years? Or was it mostly quiet from the start? Just wondering if any community members took independent actions or if it all just faded into the background after the police hit a dead end. Any insights would be appreciated!
