Does anyone else find it strange that despite extensive searches, there weren't any reported signs of a struggle or accident evident on the shore of Pallet Lake? I’ve been going through the details of Michael Konopelky's case again, and it strikes me as odd. You’d think that if something went wrong, there might be footprints, disturbed earth, or even some indication on his canoe or paddle. Yet all we have are his belongings found neatly by themselves, as if someone just vanished into thin air. Could it be possible that he left the lake area on foot and something happened afterward? Or maybe there’s something about the lake itself we’re missing? Grasping at straws here, but sometimes it seems like there’s more beneath the surface of these cases than we initially perceive. Interested to hear others’ thoughts on what might have happened.
