I was reading about Mosses J. Korman's case, and something that strikes me is how important witnesses are, even after all these years. The disappearance occurred in broad daylight in Toronto, a bustling city with plenty of potential witnesses who might've seen something. Did anyone ever come forward, I wonder, or was there a public appeal for information at that time? I know memories can fade, but sometimes people remember odd details that seem insignificant at the time. If anyone was around Yonge Street or the nearby parks back on July 17, 1988, it might be worth thinking back. Something small could have meant everything to the investigation. Has there ever been an effort to reach out to the public again or any community events dedicated to sharing information over the years? It seems like if there was ever a big call for witnesses, it hasn't been widely discussed, at least from what I can find.
