I've been following the case of Le-Roi La France for a while, and one thing that stands out to me is the car he was driving at the time. A 1952 Volkswagen Beetle is pretty unique and could have been a pretty identifiable vehicle back in the day. Has anyone come across any mention of a similar car being abandoned or involved in any incidents around that time? It seems like tracing the vehicle could have led to some clues, but maybe I'm missing something. It's strange that there's such little information on something as distinct as that Beetle. If anyone has insights or recollections from the Burnaby or Coquitlam areas in the 60s, it could be helpful to revisit those leads before they fade entirely.
