I’ve been doing some thinking about Rene Bernard Laflamme’s case from '81, especially regarding his trip to Montreal. It’s quite peculiar, isn't it, that Rene planned to stop in Montreal just to collect a welfare check for his move to Vancouver. I mean, was that really the sole purpose of his visit, or could there have been something else—or someone else—he was meeting? I find the timing and his sudden disappearance very curious. Perhaps someone in his circle in Montreal knows more than they’ve let on? Or maybe there’s an overlooked angle related to his finances and how he planned to cover such a big move. Could it be that he ran into unforeseen trouble, financially or otherwise, while in Montreal? I feel like this pit stop might hold more significance than is apparent. Thoughts?
