Hey everyone,
I’ve been following Steve Langlois’ case from Gascons, Québec, and something really struck me today as I was thinking about it. I've noticed that no debris or personal items from Steve's boat have reportedly washed ashore. Normally with these kinds of tragic incidents, you might expect to find some evidence of the boat or his belongings along the coastline, given how powerful the currents can be.
Does anyone here have any insight into the current patterns in the Gulf of St. Lawrence, or how likely it would be for items to be carried out to sea versus washing back onto land? I wonder if that could give any clues or at least narrow down the search area. It's just puzzling that nothing seems to have turned up. Hoping maybe some of you with maritime experience could weigh in on this.
Fingers crossed for any piece of new information or leads.
Stay safe & take care!
