Hey everyone,
I was digging into Marcel Rosaire Lapointe's case from 1980, and something caught my attention that's often overlooked. Does anyone know what the weather was like in Niagara Falls on February 4, 1980, when he went missing? It might sound irrelevant, but I think weather conditions could have played a role if he went for a walk and got disoriented or if there were any challenges in organizing search parties.
Niagara Falls can get pretty intense weather-wise in February, so it could have really impacted visibility for both Marcel and anyone looking for him right after he went missing. I'm wondering if snow or ice might have been a factor in how the initial search efforts were conducted. Has anyone else looked into this angle, or know where I could find historical weather data from back then? Maybe it could provide just a tiny piece of this complex puzzle.
Any thoughts or info would be super appreciated!
Thanks!
