I've been thinking about Philip Henry Leishman's case and a particular detail keeps sticking with me. Has anyone else considered the friend he traveled with to Fort McMurray back in 2004? I find it curious that no one seems to know much about this person or what their side of the story is. Did this friend continue on to work, or did they head back home? Were they interviewed by the authorities or media? Given how important firsthand accounts can be in cases like this, it surprised me that we don't have more info.
