I came across an intriguing detail that might have been overlooked in discussions about Roy Lewis’ disappearance. During the days he was last seen, Sackville experienced an unusual cold snap for early November. I read somewhere that weather can significantly impact a person, especially someone vulnerable like Mr. Lewis, who had memory issues. There's mention that he might have been hitchhiking, which got me thinking: could the cold weather have forced him to seek shelter in places the search didn't cover? Abandoned buildings? Farm structures? It’s possible that someone, considering the weather, offered him a ride or place to stay, even if only temporarily. Has anyone heard if the search efforts checked such locations in the surrounding rural areas? It seems like it could be another angle to explore given the circumstances!
