Christina Littlejohn was 27 when she was last seen in the summer of 1968 on the Roseau River Reserve in Manitoba. On the day she disappeared she and her common-law husband had been visiting several homes on the reserve; after their final visit the couple was seen walking together into the woods. That was the last confirmed sighting of Christina.

Initial community belief that she had moved away delayed an official inquiry; Christina was not reported missing to authorities until 1976. The RCMP opened a lengthy investigation with no immediate resolution, and Christina was declared legally dead in 1995. A later Cold Case Unit review uncovered evidence that she had been murdered by her common-law partner on the day she disappeared. In 2002 he was arrested and charged with second-degree murder but died before trial. Christina’s remains have not been recovered and the RCMP investigation remains open.

Does anyone from the Roseau River area remember Christina or have information that could help bring her home?
