Just stumbled upon this case and wanted to share a detail that might provide some clarity or new angle. I find it really odd that it took until March 1992 for Shirley Lonethunder to be reported missing, given that she had a court date before then. It's intriguing (and troubling) to consider the implications of such a delay. Did folks around her just assume she wanted to be left alone for a while, or was there a lack of urgency because of her lifestyle choices? Unfortunately, early missteps like this tend to set the tone for the entire investigation. Thoughts? Anyone know if there's been any effort to lift the veil on this initial period of her disappearance? Seems like it could hold some crucial insights or leads that never got the attention they deserved.
