Hey everyone, I've been digging into Henry Mlot's disappearance and have been struck by how little information is available about what he was doing on his last day. It makes me wonder if he interacted with anyone who might not have realized the significance at the time. It wouldn't be surprising given the era and the mental health stigma back then, but maybe someone, even unknowingly, caught a glimpse of something vital. Since it was 1973, it's likely people in Burnaby didn't carry cameras or smartphones as we do now. But I've read about community events that might have coincided with his last known whereabouts. Are there any chances that someone snapped photos for local newsletters or personal family albums that might have captured incidental background shots? I know it's a long shot, but sometimes things like this have helped in other cold cases when they pop up online or in local historical archives. If anyone here does genealogy research or has connections to local history groups in the Burnaby area, it could be worth asking around or checking those old records. Just putting it out there in the hope that a piece of the puzzle might resurface.
