Does anyone know if Martin Maier had any CB radio or other communication device in his truck? It seems odd to me that absolutely no trace has been found, not even a distress signal. Maybe he tried reaching out for help if something went wrong? I recall that truckers and many rural farmers used CB radios back in the day for communication, especially in remote areas like Saskatchewan. Just wondering if this angle was explored or if anyone from the Prelate or Liebenthal communities remembers something related to this. It's always possible that someone might have heard something and didn't realize its significance at the time. Any thoughts or recollections would be helpful!
