I’ve been closely following the John Timothy McCarthy case for some time, and one detail that keeps sticking out to me is the Seiko watch he was wearing when he disappeared. Has anyone ever found a similar watch or noticed one being sold or pawned in the Sault Ste. Marie area around that time? It doesn't seem likely that the watch and wedding band just vanished without a trace, especially since personal items can often leave a trail. I wonder if the watch holds any significant value, or if it might have been a clue missed along the way. Considering the distance his van was found—did he willingly leave it there, or was someone else involved? Finding out where that watch could've ended up might provide some answers about John’s movements or intentions during those last days. Just a thought, but any lead could be crucial after all these years!
