Hey everyone, I wanted to discuss something that seems a bit puzzling about Gail's case. I've been digging into public transport records from around 1971, and it's intriguing how the initial report mentioned she might have been seen getting onto the bus. However, the bus driver later wasn't sure it was her after seeing more photos. It makes me wonder about the reliability of these eyewitness accounts and how much they can vary.
Did anyone else notice how those little details can get easily muddled, especially in cases going this far back? We also have to consider how the technology back then really limited what police could investigate—no CCTV at bus stops or digital ticketing records like we have today. I guess if someone did see her, maybe another commuter who perhaps didn't come forward, it could have been crucial.
If anyone's been looking into transport patterns or similar cases from that time, it would be great to hear your thoughts or if there’s anything notable about public transport investigations from that era. It seems like a potentially missed opportunity that's been buried by time.
