Hi everyone, I was digging through some old newspaper archives about Marion Joan McDowell's disappearance, and I found an intriguing detail I hadn't seen mentioned much. It turns out that around the time of her disappearance, there were a few reports of a suspicious man lurking around the edges of the lovers' lanes across Scarborough. People described him as wearing dark clothing and always walking away hurriedly when he noticed he was being watched. Could this be the same guy who accosted Marion and Jimmy? I wonder if the police ever dug deeper into those sightings or if they connected them to Marion’s case. It's fascinating—and a bit eerie—how these small details might fit into the larger puzzle.
