I've been revisiting the Shaun Paul McElene case and stumbled upon something that might not have been fully explored. Does anyone know if there were any significant horse races or events happening around the time of his disappearance? It's intriguing because he was reportedly seen frequently at these tracks. These events often bring together a vast array of people from different backgrounds. With transient visitors coming in and out, I wonder if someone from out of town might have crossed paths with Shaun around that time. Perhaps a big race day could have attracted someone who noticed something unusual or interacted with him last. Has this angle been considered by investigators or in previous media coverage? If anyone knows horse racing schedules from that autumn or has insights into the racing scene back then, it could potentially add another layer to understand what circles he might have been moving in during his last days.
