In the early morning hours of February 12, 2024, a burst of gunfire outside a duplex in Sandy, Utah, left 31-year-old Tony Dejolie dead. Police were called about 3:30 a.m. to the area of 635 E. 7800 South, where officers found Dejolie with a fatal gunshot wound and a second man in his 20s, later identified as Victor Ray Garcia, also shot and taken to a local hospital in stable condition.
