Hey everyone, I've been thinking about how often these cases involve potential witnesses who might not even realize the importance of what they saw or heard. Regarding Peter James MCKAY's disappearance in 1986, I've always wondered about the people who might have been nearby that New Year's Eve on the South Saskatchewan River. The Riversdale area was likely buzzing with activity, given the holidays. It makes me think: What if someone noticed something unusual but didn’t think it was relevant at the time, like a child playing too close to the river or someone else in the vicinity acting out of the ordinary? I imagine winter in Saskatoon means quieter streets by the river, but you'd still have the usual mix of families, maybe skaters or ice fishermen, coming and going. If anyone figures they could have been there, it’s never too late to reach out to the investigating agencies. Even if decades have passed, every little piece of information can be invaluable. It’s these cold cases that remind me how crucial community input can be, even years after the fact. Thoughts? Stay safe, everyone!
