Hey everyone, I’ve been digging into the details surrounding Edward "Ted" McMichael’s disappearance from Vancouver in 1979. One thing that's been nagging at me: the role of the YMCA. A lot of transient folks were staying there around that time, and it makes me wonder if there are any stories of people who met unusual characters or heard alarming stories from that particular location. Could someone who stayed there even recall something significant? Or maybe a staff member noticed an unfamiliar face that seemed out of place? The sheer number of people in and out of the building could easily mean someone saw or heard something, even if it didn’t seem important at the time. It’s a long shot, but sometimes these tiny threads make a difference in cases like these. Anyone with info or even a family anecdote should definitely reach out to the authorities, you never know what might finally crack this mystery open.
