Has anyone here been researching the case of Maggie Mink and come across any info about the Vancouver police's involvement? I was digging through some old news archives and found vague mentions that the VPD might have briefly investigated Maggie's disappearance, but there's scant detail on the extent or outcomes of their efforts. This is so frustrating, considering it was the last place she was reportedly seen. Did they ever conduct any ground searches or canvass the area where she was supposedly living in the west end of Vancouver? Understanding the jurisdiction and how these cases were handled back in the '80s could be a huge piece of the puzzle. If anyone has pointers or knows where to look for further documentation from the city or province around that time, it could really propel this discussion forward and maybe even reignite some interest in revisiting the case.
