Paul L. Moore, 63, was last seen at his Lewiston, New York, residence on the morning of September 14, 1988. He is described as a white male, 6 feet 1 inch tall, about 160 pounds, with blond hair and blue eyes. When he left home he was reportedly wearing blue jeans, a blue polo shirt, and a light green jacket.
His vehicle was later found abandoned in a Holiday Inn parking lot near the American Falls in Niagara Falls, about 50 yards from the rapids. Inside the car were his wallet, wedding ring, and car keys. Reports from the time noted he had been feeling despondent before his disappearance; his case was handled by the New York State Police and the Niagara Regional Police Service and entered in national missing persons databases. He was never heard from again.
Does anyone have information about Paul’s movements in western New York in September 1988 or recall seeing his vehicle near the American Falls?
