Hey all, I've been digging into the case of Daniel James Murray, who went missing in Drayton Valley back in 2004, and something that's been on my mind is the fact that his shoes or any personal belongings were never found. Given the slippery conditions along the riverbanks, wouldn't it be possible for at least one of his shoes to have washed up downstream somewhere? It seems like the kind of thing that might have been noticed or turned up by now, but I haven't found any mention of them. Anyone else here with knowledge about river dynamics or who’s looked into similar cases: do items generally travel far in a river like the North Saskatchewan, or could they have been snagged somewhere along the way? This case just has so many layers, and I wonder if anything was missed in the initial search efforts. Curious to hear everyone’s thoughts! Stay safe, [Username]
