A domestic disturbance call in Jacksonville led to a fatal shooting in the early morning hours of November 15, 2024. Officers were dispatched about 3:55 a.m. to a residence near Rixie Road and later located 19-year-old Christopher Sabb deceased from a gunshot wound in the 8000 block of South Highway 161, near Wooten Road.

The Jacksonville Police Department’s investigation identified Sabb’s 19-year-old girlfriend, Kalise Goff, as the person who allegedly shot him. Goff was arrested and charged with capital murder in connection with Sabb’s death. The investigation remains ongoing as authorities continue to examine the circumstances.
