Hey everyone, I've been following Lindsey Nicholls' case closely—and something that always catches my attention is the timing of her disappearance. It's odd that she left right after a disagreement but also planned to meet friends at the festival. Given Lindsey's previous runaway attempt, it’s hard not to wonder if that influenced how quickly her disappearance was reported. It breaks my heart to think about the hours lost before the alarm was raised, especially because time is so critical in missing persons cases. It makes me concerned about how quickly cases like these were, and maybe still are, taken seriously by law enforcement. I'm curious if her initial runaway allowed crucial early leads to go unnoticed. Does anyone know if there have been any procedural changes in Canada since then regarding how missing teens are initially classified?
