Andrew George Nicoll, 55, disappeared from his rural Breton, Alberta property in spring 2014. He was last heard from the afternoon of April 21, when his daughter sent a final text at 3:15 p.m.; her follow-up at 4 p.m. was never read. The next day his employer reported him missing after he failed to show for work.
At the home his truck was in the driveway and his wallet, keys, and jacket were inside. Tools were left out on the deck, chicken was thawing for supper, and his dogs were inside the house — something his daughter said he only did when expecting visitors. There were no signs of a struggle or evidence he planned to leave.
The RCMP conducted an air and ground search that was called off after a week. Family and community volunteers continued searching for five months, more than 100 people taking part; search dogs indicated a point of interest in a nearby creek but no trace was found.
Did anyone in Breton or nearby areas see Andrew on or after April 21, 2014, or notice unusual activity near that creek?
