I came across Emily Osmond's case and I’m really curious about the role weather might have played in her disappearance. Living in a shack without electricity or running water, Emily was certainly resilient, but Saskatchewan’s late summer can be unpredictable. Heavy rains or early frost could pose challenges, especially for someone who lived as self-sufficiently as Emily. Could extreme weather conditions have disoriented her or forced her out of her usual environment? Also, the fact that her dogs were left behind makes me wonder if something urgent happened. It's all speculation, but difficult weather conditions could potentially play a role in a case like this, where no signs of struggle were found. Has anyone else considered this aspect or found weather reports from that time?
