I came across something today that might add an interesting angle to the discussion about Nick Ostashek's disappearance. While reviewing some newspaper clippings from the time he went missing, I noticed a mention of several unusual weather events in the area around late June 1978. Heavy rain and unusual fog were reported right around the time Nick vanished. Could these conditions have impacted the search efforts, maybe washed away potential clues, or even led to confusion in initial search directions? It's always seemed to me that weather can play such a significant role in how these cases unfold. Just thought it was an intriguing detail worth sharing, especially since weather isn't something that's been heavily discussed here in relation to Nick's case.
