I’ve been following Eleanor Eatha Parkinson’s disappearance and something that's been intriguing me is the role of her illness in all of this. It’s such an odd factor – she'd been bedridden for months, hardly able to step out on her own. For her to suddenly decide to leave without any personal belongings seems so out of character. I can’t help but wonder if her illness could have caused some sort of confusion or disorientation that made her leave unexpectedly? I’ve read cases where prolonged illness or medications had mental side effects, causing people to act out of the ordinary. Could there have been a momentary lapse that led her to wander off? Anyone here have insights or similar experiences with sudden changes in behavior due to illness? It adds such a perplexing layer to an already baffling case.
