Hey everyone, I just came across some older threads about Stanley Morris Peters Jr.'s case and I wanted to discuss something that's been on my mind. I was wondering if anyone has any insights into the railroad track area between Pemberton and Mount Currie where Stanley was last seen hitchhiking. I've heard that some locals have tried to piece together information over the years about what might have happened along those tracks. Specifically, does anyone know if that route was heavily traveled back in the late '80s? It seems like such a remote place, yet clearly something went wrong that night. It’s so intriguing how this case has evolved over the years, and I'm curious if there are aspects of the geography that might have affected the initial investigation or recovery efforts. Would love to hear thoughts from anyone familiar with the area or similar cases.
