Has anyone considered the possibility of mistaken identity in Ernest Pfaff's case? Back in 1973, it seems like records and communication weren’t as interconnected as they are now. Ernest's disappearance might have involved someone misidentifying him or his car, especially since there's no trace of either. I've read about instances where missing individuals were inadvertently dragged into something bigger—like being mistaken for someone else or being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Given that his car is also missing, I wonder if it was more than just a personal decision or disappearance. Maybe someone thought he was somebody else? Just a thought—any other theories or historical similar occurrences in that area during the '70s?
