I’ve been following Donnie Preston's case and a thought crossed my mind about the location of his last known whereabouts. Kersley, BC, is quite remote, and from what I understand, there are pockets of dense forest and rugged terrain surrounding the area. Knowing that Donnie had a habit of hitchhiking, it's possible he intended to travel or explore a bit during his days off but maybe got into trouble in those wild areas.
Has anyone looked into local reports of people spotting a lone traveler or any odd occurrences in the nearby wilderness around that time? Or maybe even checked to see if any surveillance from highways or nearby businesses captured footage of him on the road? It's just another angle to consider, especially when the usual paths of investigation don’t seem to yield many answers.
I'd love to hear if anyone has more insight into the terrain and how it may complicate or inform this case. After all, the deeper we dive into all possible scenarios, the better chance there might be to piece together what happened.
