Has anyone looked into the specific conditions on Lac Seul around the time Lawrence Edward Prettie vanished? I know the case files don’t provide much detail on this, but for those familiar with the area, could fluctuating water levels or sudden weather changes have played a part that day? Lac Seul is known for its tricky waters, especially in the fall when weather can be unpredictable. I’m curious if local residents or frequent visitors might recall if there was a storm or unusually choppy conditions that weekend. It might not give us the closure we wish for, but understanding the possible natural factors could help build a clearer picture of that tragic day back in 1994.
