Something that's always puzzled me about Elizabeth's case is how quickly she seemed to vanish without a trace. You'd think with a group of people around, someone might have noticed her wandering off in the wrong direction or heard something unusual. It's eerie to think that in such an open, albeit remote area, a person could disappear so completely. It's not like there were any significant geographical features like cliffs or water bodies mentioned in the area where she could have accidentally fallen. Was the terrain so dense that it hindered everyone’s ability to stay in visual contact with one another? It seems unlikely that she could have moved far enough to escape notice before a seizure, if that was indeed what happened, could occur. Has anyone ever looked into whether there were any other unusual happenings in the area around that time? We always assume someone had to "see" something, but what if they heard something before they realized she was missing? I wonder if more people came forward with info that wasn't initially considered relevant, and if it could be helpful now.
