I came across an interesting angle on Murphy Quill's disappearance that I haven't seen discussed much yet. It seems like Murphy was a man of familiar habits, often seen around the Main Street strip and Martha Street area, and it got me thinking: What about people in those neighborhoods who would have seen him regularly? Did any neighborhood business owners or street vendors notice anything unusual around July 20th, 2005, when he was last seen? It's curious that someone so entrenched in his routine could just vanish without any noticeable disruption. I'm wondering if there might have been any changes around those areas—like construction or events—around the time of his disappearance that could have provided an opportunity for someone to take advantage of the chaos. Anybody know if any significant happenings were going on in Winnipeg around that time? Seems like there might be some overlooked clues in the everyday backdrop of his life.
