I came across Luke Ashton Retieff's case and something sticks out to me that's different from what I've seen in other cases. Has anyone else noticed the description of the clothes he was last seen wearing? Particularly, the red nylon ski jacket with stripes. It doesn't seem like typical summer attire, even for a place like Burnaby where summer temperatures are milder than in other regions. I wonder if this has been considered as a key detail in the investigation. Could he have been planning to go to a colder area? Or maybe he just preferred that jacket for comfort or emotional reasons? This makes me wonder about his state of mind or if he had a plan he didn’t communicate. Anyone else have theories or know of similar cases where clothing choices played a role in understanding a person's disappearance?
