I've always found it unsettling how little information there is about what happened to Alban after he left Gene's Country Palace. I mean, Saint John isn't exactly a huge city where someone could just vanish without a trace. What puzzles me the most is why, if he was simply out for a night on the town, no one seems to have seen anything out of the ordinary. It's hard to believe that in a place where everyone seems to know everyone else's business, nobody has stepped forward with more details all these years later. I wonder if any regulars from the pubs he visited that night might recall even the smallest detail that could help piece things together. It's frustrating to think a potential witness might not realize the significance of something they saw or heard back then.
