Hey everyone,
I've been reading a lot about the Joseph Pierre Roussel case, and one thing that's really caught my attention is the discovery of his rental car. It was found near a river and a lake, about 50 kilometers away from where he was supposed to be climbing Mount Edith Cavell. This just doesn't sit right with me. Why would his car be that far away from his intended climbing spot? I've been thinking about how remote and vast that area is. Could there have been another trail or route he planned to explore, or maybe he wanted to enjoy the area a bit before his climb?
It's just so puzzling that such an experienced young man like Joseph could disappear without a trace, especially when there was a clear plan for his day. I also read that he had left his personal belongings behind in the hotel, which makes it seem like he didn't intend to stay away. The location of the car doesn't make much logical sense if you consider his climbing plans. Has anyone else looked into whether other hikers or locals reported seeing him or if there were any unusual activities around that area during that time? Would love to hear your thoughts or any additional insights you might have!
Thanks for reading!
