Hey everyone, I've been digging into the 1977 disappearance of Terry Rowe on Lake Simcoe, and I am curious about the exact spot near Snake Island where the accident happened. I know it's tough with limited info from back then, but I've been looking at old maps and weather records, trying to piece together a better picture of the conditions that day. Does anyone know more about that area of the lake? Maybe somebody local has family stories or memories passed down about boater hazards around Snake Island? It would be great to get some insights or theories about what might have been a risky area back then. Even small details can help keep this case alive.
