I've been digging into Irene Dorothy Scherban's case, and something that's always intrigued (and baffled) me is the rings she was wearing when she went missing. Irene had those two high school insignia rings on her fingers—does anyone else think they might hold a clue, somehow? I read somewhere (can't remember where now, of course) that sometimes personal jewelry can be a crucial piece of the puzzle in cases like this. If someone had taken them off her immediately after her disappearance, they might have turned up somewhere by now. But what if they're still out there with meaning or memory attached to them? Does anyone have more info or insight into the importance of those rings or whether there have been any attempts to trace them directly? It's the little things that sometimes lead to bigger revelations, right? Just a thought.
