Nadine Bernice Sharp was 32 and a University of Toronto student when she disappeared from her Etobicoke, Ontario apartment. She was last seen on March 8, 1988, wearing a grey jacket, blue jeans and black nylon boots and carrying a blue backpack. The case was classified as endangered missing.
In the weeks before she vanished, Nadine made several calls to airlines and withdrew a few thousand dollars from her bank account, yet she left behind her passport, clothing and social insurance card. Police found the mix of actions puzzling: some signs pointed to a planned departure while other details contradicted that theory. Two years later investigators said they did not know what had happened and did not suspect foul play; the case has remained open.
If anyone knew Nadine, her routines or movements in Etobicoke or Toronto around March 1988, please share what might help investigators.
