I came across a detail in Renee Simard's case that hasn't been discussed much. It's the sightings near the wharf and McDonald’s on the afternoon she disappeared. These locations are relatively close to each other, and given the timeline, it's curious that there’s no one who reportedly interacted with her during this time. Considering it was early afternoon, I'd assume both locations, especially the McDonald's, may have been somewhat busy. Were there any efforts made to collect more detailed accounts from employees or regular patrons? Even routine video surveillance from local businesses could have offered additional clues. In 1996, though, it might not have been as prevalent or available as it is now. Still, someone must have noticed something more specific that day. Also, for those local to the area, is there any particular significance to these locations? Maybe a spot she visited regularly for personal reasons? The connection with these sites could offer more context to her disappearance. Just a thought that might be worth digging deeper into if it hasn't been already.
