Has anyone ever looked into the weather conditions on East Trout Lake around October 15, 1983? I read about similar cases where changing weather played a big role. I know most of the reports talk about it being a crisp and clear autumn day when Edna and her group set out, but lakes can be really unpredictable. Winds can shift quickly and cause big waves that are difficult to manage, especially in smaller boats. It makes me wonder if that could have been a contributing factor to the capsizing. Also, I'm curious if there were any other campers or fishermen who might have been at the lake that day and saw something unusual. Every little detail, even weather patterns, might help piece together what exactly happened. Just throwing it out there to see if anyone has insights or thoughts on this aspect.
