I’ve been digging into Raymond Lyle Snakeskin’s case, and what's truly puzzling to me is the lack of any follow-up sightings, especially considering how close-knit communities in that area tend to be. Wollaston Lake and its surroundings aren’t the kind of places where someone can just easily disappear without someone noticing. It’s got me thinking, did anyone else head out on a trek that day, or was there any talk among locals about someone meeting Raymond before he left? Considering how spiritual journeys can be deeply personal yet communal in Indigenous cultures, I wonder if anyone was aware of his plans or if he was keeping this journey more of a secret. Also, why Zangeza Bay of all places? It almost seems like a planned destination rather than just wandering. If he mentioned it to someone, perhaps they might remember more details, something that didn’t seem important at the time? It’s frustrating when these pieces of information don’t connect enough to give a clearer picture. I truly hope that ongoing awareness and discussion might prompt someone to recall or share something that sheds light on where he may have gone or who he might have encountered.
