Arthur Clifford Stephens, 46, left his Gimli, Manitoba, home in July 1970 for a fishing trip in Whiteshell Provincial Park and told his wife he would return by July 21 and would call if he stayed longer. When he did not return and there was no contact, his wife reported him missing on July 22, 1970. He was last seen wearing grey pants and a green plaid shirt.

On August 1, 1970, his vehicle was found near Falcon Beach, which prompted extensive ground, lake, and air searches of the area but produced no further leads. Stephens was described as a Caucasian male, 5 feet 7 inches tall, 150 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. Distinguishing features included missing tips of the right middle and ring fingers and multiple tattoos: a star on each thumb, a rope and dagger and a knotted rope on the left forearm, and a circular design on the right upper arm. His remains have never been found and the circumstances of his disappearance on July 19, 1970, remain unknown.

Did anyone who remembers activity around Whiteshell or Falcon Beach in July 1970 ever notice Arthur or his vehicle?
