Has anyone else looked into the type of work Donald was possibly doing before he went missing? The mining industry in Northern Ontario is known for being rather close-knit, and there are quite a few risks involved in that line of work. I'm curious if there were any safety issues or maybe even certain conflicts at the job site that aren't documented publicly. Even if everything seemed routine in the industry at the time, it’s possible that something job-related could have influenced his disappearance. Maybe someone with insider knowledge of the mining operations around South Porcupine in 1989 can chime in? Any fellow sleuths familiar with mining history or worker conditions from that era? Would be interesting to bridge that piece with Donald's case.
