I came across a detail in the Carmelo Tomasino case that has been on my mind. It's the fact that Carmelo called his wife that day to say he couldn’t pick up their daughter from school but didn't give a reason. It’s been said that this was completely out of character for him. Could this phone call have been an attempt to protect his family somehow? Maybe he knew something was about to happen, and this was his way of keeping them at a safe distance. I just can’t shake the feeling that this one phone call might hold more weight in the timeline of his disappearance. Anyone else have thoughts on what his intentions might have been? Could he have been trying to send a coded message or warning to his wife without alarming her?
