Hey everyone, I came across the case of Jeffrey Johnson Turtle while researching missing persons in Ontario, and something that really stood out to me was the location he was last seen - Squirrel Rock. Does anyone else find the choice of location unusual? I mean, from what I can gather, there doesn’t seem to be much out there except paths and woods. If he mentioned going to a sand pit, which is still a bit of a hike from where he was, it makes me wonder if he planned to meet someone or if he had some purpose for being out there specifically. Has anyone here done any deep dives into geographical profiling or terrain analysis in these kinds of cases? I’m curious if landscape features around missing persons' last known locations often play a part in affecting search outcomes or the case details. This case has been cold for so long, and it would be interesting to see if a different angle, like understanding the geography better, could shed some light. Anyone with more insight on how law enforcement interprets these kinds of locations in their investigations? This is such a puzzling case, and it's clear Jeffrey's community is still eager for answers. Thanks for reading and any info you can share!
