I've been digging into some older cases lately and stumbled upon Vital Vachon's disappearance from Timmins in 1973. It's odd how little information is out there about what he was doing at that bush camp when he vanished. The rugged terrain around Lucas Township would have made it difficult for any immediate search efforts, but it seems there was no solid starting point to even know which direction he might have gone. Does anyone know if there were any local legends or possible related incidents around that time? It feels like there's a piece missing here. Maybe someone has heard family stories or local rumors that didn't make it into the official reports? The community silence around it is almost as perplexing as the case itself.
